Ownership/ Usage Restrictions
Maison Olfa owns and operates the website. All content, data, graphics, photographs, images, sounds, videos, software, trademarks, service marks, trade names and other information (collectively, the "Content") that appear on this website is the property of Maison Olfa, its affiliates and/or third-party licensors. The content is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws.
Except as provided herein, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, publish, display, transmit, distribute, display, perform, transfer or sell any content or create derivative works from it without the prior express written consent of Maison Olfa. You may download, print and reproduce the content for your own informational purposes, provided that you maintain all copyright notices and other proprietary rights notices (exclusive rights) contained therein, and that you cite its URL.

Simons reserves the right to correct, modify or update information posted on this site at any time without notice. The only recourse you have in relation to a purchase made through our website is to return it for a full or partial refund as indicated in the return policy.
Changes to the information on our website
Offer dates, prices or the availability of items offered on our website are subject to change without notice. We work tirelessly to present only available items and renew our stock regularly. However, it is possible that an item, a size or a color is missing from the inventory when you place your order. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an order confirmation indicating the date of receipt, availability and price of each item ordered. We may occasionally have to cancel an order placed on our website if, for example, the ordered items cannot be shipped due to an unforeseen event.
While we will endeavour to meet your needs to the extent possible, we reserve the right to revise an incorrect price or item description and to cancel or refuse an order for an item with an incorrect price or description. These corrections may be made after the order has been placed.
Sales Tax
In Canada, Maison Olfa collects sales tax on products ordered through this website. The sales tax rate that will apply to an order depends on the order’s delivery address. The 5% GST (Goods and Services Tax) is added to all orders in all provinces, except for the following provinces where the HST (harmonized sales tax) is added to all orders: Ontario (13%), Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island (14%), and New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador (15%). In addition, the provincial sales tax is added to all orders in Quebec (9.975%), British Columbia (7%), Manitoba (8%) and Saskatchewan (6%). The sale of a gift card is not taxable. When used to pay for a purchase, it is a payment method just like cash. Taxes must therefore be calculated on the price of each item sold, before the value of the gift card is deducted.
Registration and passwords
To access certain parts of the website, you may have to fill out an online registration form.
In consideration for your use of this website and the services it provides, you agree to provide true, current, complete and accurate information as requested in the registration form provided by the website. You also agree to update your registration information as soon as any change has been made to the information on this registration form.

In addition, without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to:

i. constitutes unsolicited or unauthorized promotional or advertising content, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any form of solicitation;
ii. infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary (exclusive) rights or privacy rights of third parties;
iii. is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, or constitutes harassment, violates the privacy of others, or discriminates on racial, ethnic, or other grounds;
iv. contains any form of destructive software such as a virus, worm, Trojan horse, logic bomb, cancelbot, or other harmful component or other computer file, program or code designed to interrupt, to destroy or limit the functions of software, hardware or telecommunications equipment;
B. collect or otherwise collect or store any information (including personally identifiable information) about other users of the Website, including email addresses, without the express consent of those other users;
C. mislead others, create a false identity with respect to the sender or the origin of the message, forge a header or otherwise tamper with an identifier in order to hide the origin of content transmitted through the website;
D. impersonate another person or an entity, including but not limited to a Maison Olfa employee, discussion group leader, guide or host, or make a false statement about your affiliation with a person or entity or otherwise misrepresent such affiliation;
E. attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, another computer system or networks connected to the Website by means of password extraction or otherwise;
F. interfere with or disrupt networks or servers connected to the Website or violate such networks’ regulations, policies or procedures;
G. use, download or otherwise copy, or provide to any person or entity the Website User Directory or other information relating to users of or use of a Website, in whole or in part, otherwise than in the context of your use of the Website.
The following stipulations are referred to collectively as the "Code of Conduct".
User Content

By transmitting User Content to the Website, you grant Maison Olfa the worldwide, non-exclusive, unrestricted, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, assignable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, correct, publish, translate User Content (in whole or in part), create derivative works of it, license such User Content, view or publicly display it (in whole or in part) for any purpose and/or incorporate it into other works in some form, Any support or technology now known or hereafter developed without your prior consent, and you further waive any moral rights you may have in the User Content. In addition, by transmitting User Content to Maison Olfa, you represent and warrant that you own and control all rights in the User Content and have the right to assign the foregoing rights. User content reflects the views and opinions of the person or people who are delivering it.
Product Review
Maison Olfa strives to provide the public with reviews of its products that are of the highest quality and integrity possible. We encourage honest and respectful communication. Therefore, in addition to following the code of conduct, by submitting a product review you agree to all of the following:
You won’t see a review for a product that you don’t own or haven’t used;
You will only post one review per product (unless it is to provide new information);
You will not use any insults, personal attacks or inflammatory words in your product review;
You will not be posting any product reviews if you are an employee (or family member of an employee) of the manufacturer of the product or a competitor’s product.
You also understand and agree that Maison Olfa assumes no obligation to display the product reviews you provide on the website, and may revise or delete them at its sole discretion.

Compensation
By using this website, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maison Olfa, its affiliates, members, officers, employees, agents and licensors from and against all losses, costs, damages, claims, fines, penalties, costs and liabilities (including reasonable legal fees and accounting expenses) that result from:

Applicable laws
These terms of use are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein, and must be interpreted in accordance with those laws; furthermore, any dispute must be submitted to a court having jurisdiction in the judicial district of Quebec City, province of Quebec. If any provision of these Terms of Use is unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision may be severed from the remainder of these Terms of Use and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions. These Terms of Use and any other legal notice or statement posted on the Website constitute the entire agreement between you and Simons with respect to your use of the Website, including but not limited to its content.
